EuroMobi Competition Winners Honored During University of Warsaw Anniversary Celebrations

On November 20, 2025, during the University of Warsaw Anniversary celebrations at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, awards were presented to the winners of the competition “To Open or to Lock Down? We Need to Talk About the EU’s Neighbourhood and Enlargement Policy!”
The competition for the best essay and short film on EU neighborhood policy was organized as part of the “Europe and Mobilities: Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Economic Transformations” project implemented by the Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences.
The essay competition winners are:
- Zuzanna Opalska (University of Warsaw) – 1st place for the essay “Czy unijne gwiazdy bledną? Rozszerzanie Unii w cieniu populizmu”
- Amelia Szuber (Academy of Justice) – 2nd place for the essay “Przyszłość rozszerzenia Unii Europejskiej wobec transformacji międzynarodowego prawa humanitarnego w dobie sztucznej inteligencji”
- Vladyslav Manzyuk (University of Warsaw) – 3rd place for the essay “Geopolityka ponad biurokrację”
In the short film competition, 1st place went to Lilianna Włodarska (University of Warsaw) for the film “It’s not like that!.”
